Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Provide phone peer support or phone postpartum support to individuals experiencing mental health concerns.
Skills Required: Good communication skills / Active Listener
Fluent English
Interpersonal skills
Basic phone skills
Skills Gained/Related Careers: Criminal Record Check will need to be provided once we move to in person peer support.
Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment: Daytime, Evening
Phone Lines Available Monday to Friday, including holidays: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Location of volunteer opportunity: Winnipeg
