Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: -Development and management of all regional fundraising activities
-Build a team (when required) to manage any fundraising events
-Research and complete grant applications in conjunction with SOM support staff
-Work with SOM support staff with any cause marketing campaigns
-Assist in Draft an Athlete (when applicable) sponsors
-Work to increase Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Initiatives in the Region
-Attend Regional Leadership Team and Club Meetings
-Other duties as required
Skills Required: Fundraising experience or knowledge of non-profit fundraising strategies
Interpersonal skills
Skills Gained/Related Careers: Working with a team of volunteers to help fundraise dollars in order to provide quality sport programming within their region.
Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment: Daytime, Evening, Weekend
10-20 hours a month; volunteer hours are as needed and when it works with your schedule. Multiple positions available within the seven regions of Manitoba. There is opportunities to also be part of the fundraising committee for different events/projects.
