Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Maplecrest church is a charismatic evangelical church that is located in Park Theater Winnipeg. We are looking for an energetic, positive, interpersonal skilled person who can work well on a team.

We are increasing the quality of our video stream so we are creating teams to operate video equipment. We require multiple applicants who are experienced in camera work and/or video switching. This position will be responsible for operation of this equipment as well as the set-up and tear down audio/visual equipment and transport it to and from the venue using a Maplecrest vehicle.

Our church rents Park Theater on Sunday mornings and also operates out of 200-701 Pembina Hwy, where the church has it's office and hosts some other events and programs. This position requires availability on Sunday mornings from 9am until 12pm. For more information on our statement of faith, please visit under the about page.

Visual Technician Tasks:

- Setting up camera equipment
- Tearing down camera equipment
- Controlling aesthetic aspects of the shot i.e lighting, placement of the subject
- Capturing live worship with a camera
- Changing camera settings
- Switching between camera feeds using a video switcher
- Troubleshooting
Skills Required: Visual Technician Assets:

- Experience with working with cameras or videography
- Experience with Propresenter
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Class 5 license

Time Commitment: Daytime, Evening
Part-time hours: Variable from 3-4 hours per week. Hours will be on Sunday mornings and possibly Saturdays.
