| Description of Duties: | The Municipality of Springfield is seeking (6) volunteers from the Springfield community to actively participate on the Springfield Community Recreation Centre Fundraising Committee. The goal of the fundraising committee is to raise the required amount of funds to construct the Springfield Community Recreation Centre. Committee members will assist municipal staff and council to develop a public relations (media)/ marketing plan, identify potential partnerships, design and implement a large donor campaign, including facility naming rights and building component naming rights, and developing a grass root local community campaign. |
| Skills Required: | Committee members will be selected based on their involvement with sports, recreation, and arts organizations, experience working on volunteer committees, and for their desire to build a multiuse recreation facility to support recreation and community development in Springfield. |
