Volunteers patrol regularly based on their availability with monthly chapter meet ups.
Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Patrol with other members of the Saint Boniface Citizens on Patrol Program. Either in your vehicle or on foot.

Engage with stakeholder agencies in the community of Saint Boniface and interact with the public.

Contact municipal services such as 311 or police as needed.
Skills Required: Able to walk for a certain period of time, enjoy interacting with people and a keen eye for noticing things that might be out of place.

Working in a uniform that is highly visible.
Skills Gained/Related Careers: Great place to get experience as you're training to work in a security related field. We provide basic training on note taking, patrolling and report writing.

Many of our members are retired or looking for something to do on their evenings and weekends.
Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment: Daytime, Evening, Weekend
Time commitment is flexible based on volunteer availability with 4-8 hours being the average monthly commitment. We conduct patrols at all hours of the day and night.
