As a community-based Centre for Women and their families the focus is on reducing isolation through providing culturally appropriate programs and services.
This includes safe and confidential access to information & referrals, basic needs, physical/emotional/health/social/spiritual support systems and people, as well as, economic and educational opportunities.
We run food bank on every other Wednesday and a full time donation centre when families can receive clothing, food, and household items for no charge.
The Canadian Muslim Women's Sewing Training Program and Social Enterprise - The Cutting Edge - is made up of two components: a 6 month training program and the establishment of a social enterprise.
