Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: See Spot Read is a dog program that benefits children who have difficulty with their confidence when it comes to reading.

Our Animal Companionship program is an animal-assisted program using WHS behaviour assessed animals to provide affection and comfort to people with a variety of needs and conditions who would benefit from the support and attention of an animal. These animals help individuals with physical, mental, and behavioural needs to make closer connections with animals based on the reported benefits of these types of practices.

Volunteers participate in the programs in conjunction with their own dog. What a great way to strengthen your bond with your own dog by helping kids.
