Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Siloam Art Studio is a space where community can connect with workshop facilitators to explore their creative side in order to encourage personal insight and feelings of well-being. The studio provides a safe and supportive environment where relationship and skill building are key. Workshop facilitators bring their skills and enthusiasm and genuine interest in supporting people on their journey. Classes include things like painting, drawing, writing, soapstone carving and beading to name a few.
Skills Required: Siloam Mission art workshop facilitators offer guidance and support to attendees at the drop-in to the art studio. Workshops are semi-structured where facilitators may work on their own project in the studio and offer guidance to others who are interested. 2. Have a background or interest in the arts and a willingness to help lead a workshop or larger community art project based on your interests.
