Organizational Description: A family centre that provides programs and information to enhance the quality of family life in the community.
We provide infrastructure and support for grassroots organizations and community groups to sustain programming and services.
Our programs provide a supportive environment in where participants can develop confidence in themselves and their abilities and can gain skills for success.

Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Volunteering in a fast paced environment supporting community programs by helping with drop in set up. Duties include cleaning and organizing,kitchen duties such as cooking and prepping food, other duties like prepping organizing crafts.
Have a positive demeanor interacting with families, children and seniors.
Skills Required: Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Experience working with families, children and seniors in a drop in or community environment.

Food Handlers certificate an asset.

Speak Fluent English
Skills Gained/Related Careers: Great experience working with families as well as supporting programs that enhance the quality of family life in the community.

Possible Food Handlers certification after 3 months of volunteer service.

Great for students interested in social work,family dynamics or interest in supporting healthy communities!

Mondays 9am-12pm Tuesdays 4:30 pm-730pm Thursdays 4:30-7:30pm
