Organizational Description: The Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba (LDAM) provides information, referral, and support for individuals with learning disabilities (LD) and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), their families and the professionals who work with them. LDAM is a United Way supported agency that also receives grants and carries out fundraising activities to help fulfill our mission. LDAM's vision is to help people impacted by learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders to reach their goals and live better lives.
Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Lego® Club is a social development program that teaches students how to work as a team to solve a problem. Lego® Club provides a safe and inviting environment where youth can learn and practice independent social skills.

We require individuals to lead our program and supervise our youth during their "builds".

Ability to relate to diverse learners

Teaching experience
Group management
Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment: Evening
Once a week for 8 weeks
