Organizational Description: Who we are:
Education, information, support and guidance. No judgment. No criticism. It takes a very brave person to ask for help and that's why we are here. To help. We help with spay/neuter programs for First Nations Communities. We try to set up vaccine and sterilization clinics annually dependant on funds. We are often "on call" for emergencies. We also do the majority of transport for our emergencies and spay/neuters ect for the communities we work with. Heal the animals you heal the children. Heal the children you heal the adults. Heal the adults and you will heal the World.
Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Volunteers needed.

Do you have a passion for animals and a few hours per week to volunteer?

The STCP team is looking for new team members!!


Cat Adoption Coordinator:
· Posting adoptable cats, including pictures and descriptions
· Providing support to potential adopters
· Answering messages from potential adopters as well as questions from within the STCP team
· Managing cat adoption team
· Work with Foster Coordinators for Adoption events on a monthly basis
· Receive and submit adoption fees
· Ensuring all information for individual animals has been captured in records

Cat Adoption Liaison:
· Processing adoption applications, including calling references, vet checks and interviewing potential adopters
· Home checks for potential adopters

Dog Adoption Liaison:
· Processing adoption applications, including calling references, vet checks and interviewing potential adopters
· Home checks for potential adopters

Cat Foster Liaison:
· Processing foster applications for potential fosters, includes checking references and performing home checks
· Assisting in providing support to fosters
· Assist in follow up for vaccination appointments
· Assist in preparing intake forms for transports
· Assist in supplying fosters with items

Dog Foster Liaison:
· Processing foster applications for potential fosters, includes checking references and performing home checks
· Assisting in providing support to fosters
· Assist in follow up for vaccination appointments
· Assist in preparing intake forms for transports
· Assist in supplying fosters with items


Cat Vetting Coordinator:
· Responsible for making vetting appointments and keeping track of records, includes being on rotation for the on-call schedule
· Provide information to adopters regarding their spay/neuters and upcoming vaccinations including follow up to ensure appointments have been completed
· Receive and review all invoices and statements from vet clinics to ensure accuracy
· Coordinate with partner rescues regarding vetting appointments
· Provide monthly reports to the Board

Dog Vetting Coordinator:

Treasurer:
· Accepting all e-transfers, making deposits and paying all bills
· Bookkeeping and responsible for keeping all records required by Canada Revenue Agency
· Budgeting on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis
· Providing financial information to grant team members and Board members
· Attending monthly meetings

Owned Pet Program for First Nations Community members.
· Contact all owners who wish to spay, neuter and vaccinate their animals.
· Provide quotes for the vet they will be using, discuss amount they are able to pay.
· Arrange payment method, payment plans and method of payment.
· Arrange appointments and transportation if needed.
· Follow up on payments.
· Save screenshot of etransfers or other proof of payment to google drive.
· Cancel or reschedule appointments if payment not received or cannot be made until a later date.
