We help with spay/neuter programs for First Nations Communities. We try to set up vaccine and sterilization clinics annually dependant on funds. We are often "on call" for emergencies. We also do the majority of transport for our emergencies and spay/neuters ect for the communities we work with. Heal the animals you heal the children. Heal the children you heal the adults. Description of Duties: Dog Foster Coordinator Job description

The Dog Foster Coordinator is an active volunteer and fills a large role with the Strays That Can't Pay team. This volunteer devotes regular and frequent engagement with volunteer duties. This is not a paid position, as all STCP members are volunteers.

Specific duties of the Dog Foster Coordinator includes, but is not limited to, the following:

%u27A2 Recruit, train, mentor and serve as primary contact for fosters
%u27A2 Process foster applications for potential fosters
· Includes checking references
· Checking vetting history
· Performing home checks as required
%u27A2 Facilitate intake of animals into foster care and Brandon Boarding Kennels
%u27A2 Assist in follow ups and arrangements of vetting for foster dogs and Brandon Boarding Kennel dogs
%u27A2 Facilitate moves from one foster to another if current foster is not working
%u27A2 Update dog spreadsheet with relevant intake information and foster observations
%u27A2 Manage foster activities such as:
· Transport and adoption events
· Provide assistance in needing supplies for foster dogs
· Assist and advise with foster dog concerns (eg. behaviour and health concerns) and providing guidance
· Transport for foster dog from rescue point to foster care etc
· Encourage posting relevant information about foster dog and pictures for advertising and promotion
%u27A2 Follow up with long term/permanent fosters
%u27A2 Staying in touch with storage coordinator to order supplies that runs out
%u27A2 Getting supplies form storage and taking donations to storage
