Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Job Overview: The Kid Zone Manager is an integral role in the success of the new kid's area at the Pride Winnipeg Forks Festival. In this role you are responsible to oversee a team of volunteers and ensure the Kids Zone operates in a safe, clean and fun manor for all attendees.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage a team of volunteers
- Supervise the concessions, entertainments, and safety of the Kids Zone grounds
- Monitor and work with security as needed
Skills Required: Qualifications:
- Previous management experience required
- Ability to remain calm and manage others in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work as, and lead a team
- The ability to work with children of all ages

Position Expectations: Mandatory
- Attend 4 scheduled Festival Operations Meetings
- Attend Volunteer Orientation
- Attend Friday - Monday on site during Pride Festival Closing Weekend
- Optional: to attend Pride Winnipeg regularly scheduled meetings
