Organizational Description: The BBB Education Foundation of Manitoba is a charitable organization that focuses on the pressing need for an honest, ethical future workforce and community to continue the BBB's work of cultivating an honest and transparent current workplace. The BBB Foundation provides students and employees with tools to assist in ethical decision making which will positively impact their personal and professional lives through the LIFT Business Ethics Certification Program. It is a short course module being delivered to students and employees including newcomers, job seekers, youth and social agencies, and the business community.
Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: As a facilitator, you will deliver the LIFT Business Ethics Certificate Program - webinar. Develop and maintain a positive outcome with the participants; Be well-versed in the workshop content and prepared to lead the participants in meaningful conversation. Manage time for each activity to endure all components are completed in the time allocated; Engage participants through personal stories and examples; Treat participants with respect and guide them to respect each other; Be aware and sensitive to the diversity of backgrounds that participants may come from; Evaluate each participants eligibility for certification based on project rubric; provide feedback to BBB Foundation to ensure continued improvement of the program.
Skills Required: Must be comfortable in webinar delivery preferably Zoom and Microsoft Powerpoint. Effective verbal communication skills; leadership skills; ability to lead participants and think creatively; an appropriate level of ethics acumen; reliability and responsiveness; ability to assume the essential responsibilities of the position. (Full training and delivery assistance is provided)

Time Commitment: Daytime
Work remotely: - Attend the one-hour facilitator training and approximately 3 to 5 hours monthly every bi-weekly on Fridays. The webinar is a maximum of 2.5 hours of interactive sessions.
