Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Job Purpose:
The Transportation Manager is responsible for working in conjunction with the Logistics Director to ensure all
transportation requirements during the Pride Festival, Parade and any special events are handled.
Duties:
- Work with the Director of Logistics to execute the Transportation Plan during Pride Weekend and assist preparing initial drive plan.
- Work with vehicle sponsor & the Director of Logistics to ensure vehicle pickup and drop off times and dates are followed.
- Work with the Director of Logistics as well as the Human Resources Coordinator to ensure volunteer requirements are submitted on time for transportation needs.
- Assist with pickups & drop-off from Pride events.
- Coordinate and supervise other transportation volunteers.
- Ensure that Pride is represented professionally and responsibly.
Skills Required: Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organization skills.
- Experience in distribution and or logistics considered an asset.
