Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: As Director of Youth, you are the youth leader / representative for a dynamic grassroots MADD Canada Chapter within your community. You will work collaboratively with fellow board members; community partners and the National Staff to support our mission.
Skills Required: - A youth - someone that understands youth and can advocate on their behalf.
- You possess strong leadership, communication and networking skills.
- You are a strategic thinker.
- You are a people person; you are friendly and you are a team player.
- You possess tact, discipline and attention to detail.
- You have prior experience serving on a board of directors (preferred, but not required).
Skills Gained/Related Careers:
Age: 17 and under, 18-30
Time Commitment: Daytime, Evening, Weekend
Hours are varied depending on events.
