Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: We are looking for volunteers to join our development committee team!

- Contribute to and review the fundraising plan to ensure progress toward funding goals
- Set priorities for fundraising efforts; evalute plans and strategies
- help identify and solicit funds from external sources of support including, but not limited to: foundations, corporations, community organizations, and individuals.
- Support the organization through the planning and implementation of fundraising events and campaigns.
- Engage in advocacy and networking.
Skills Required: - Proven experience in volunteerism at a committee leadership level.
- Experience communicating with corporate partners to generate and facilitate sponsorship.
- Strong planning, organizational and delegation skills
- Have the ability to work well as part of a team and contribute reasoned opinions and ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Skills Gained/Related Careers: This opportunity will help develop organizational, leadership and team work skills while having fun with a great group of individuals!

Available once per month and more frequently during events
