Organizational Description: The Manitoba Baton Twirling Sportive Association (MBTSA) is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mandate is to promote and encourage the sport of baton twirling throughout the province of Manitoba at competitive and non-competitive levels.
Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Various opportunities are available. Some include playing competition music using an iPad, videotaping athletes that are performing, cleaning up competition venue at the end of the day, checking in volunteers and providing general information, and using Excel for tabulating results.
Skills Required: Skills required vary depending on the job. All jobs require punctuality and reliability.

Music player - familiarity with using an iPad
Videographer - familiarity with video cameras
Tabulation assistant - familiarity with Excel an asset
Welcome desk assistant - knowledge of area around the University of Manitoba an asset
Skills Gained/Related Careers: -experience that shows your reliability and ability to concentrate

Age: 17 and under, 18-30, 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment: Daytime, Evening, Weekend
Volunteers are required July 1 to July 5, 2018. Volunteer opportunities are between 7:30 a.m. to approximately 7:00 p.m. There is some flexibility in the hours. Partial days are okay.
