Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Primarily work from home .
Input and manage collected information on an existing excel data report.
Call participants to follow up and collect new data for health report.
Skills Required: Excellent telephone skills.
Data entry skills.
Ability to be empathetic and have patience when speaking to people on the phone.
Basic health knowledge an asset.
Knowledge of bone health and osteoporosis or a desire to learn is needed.
Skills Gained/Related Careers: the volunteer will gain knowledge in overall health maintenance with a specific focus in osteoporosis and bone health.
Communication skills by communicating one on one with people will be enhanced.
Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+
Time Commitment: Daytime, Evening, Weekend
Volunteer will be able to work on own schedule, but will be asked to have calls and data entry completed in agreed upon time frames.
