Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: Caregiving with Confidence (formerly Rupert's Land Caregiver Services') transportation program - Ring-A-Ride needs volunteers to drive older adults in South West Winnipeg to appointments, shopping and social outings. Volunteer hours are flexible and you make your schedule! Compensation for gas and parking is provided.
Skills Required: All volunteer drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have a good driving record, safe vehicle, and a desire to work with older adults. A police record check is required, because of the vulnerability of the people we serve. In order to complete this, applicants must be a resident of Canada for a minimum of 12 months.
