Organizational Description: A Port in the Storm Inc., a non-profit organization, which was incorporated in February 2005, addresses the need for safe, supportive, affordable, home-like accommodations for rural and northern adult individuals and their family members who are required to travel to Winnipeg for treatment. We opened our doors in September, 2012 and have become a place to call home for over 600 individuals and families from rural Manitoba and North Western Ontario.
A Port in the Storm values the need to put families first, with a focus on affordability, so they can focus on health. Accountability is a core value of the organization while practicing efficient, honest and responsible use of resources. We foster collaboration with our community partners by bringing together resources with creativity and ingenuity.

Description of Duties: To provide administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the front line.
Skills Required: Positive and enthusiastic attitude, confidence in approaching others, ability to commit, ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, extremely organized, excellent customer service.
