Organization Details
Organization Name: You Can't Spoil A Baby
Address: 31 Woodview Bay
Winnipeg MB  R3R 3C9
Organizational Description: A Manitoba based volunteer network who collects, creates and delivers custom gifts of once loved baby clothes and items to help families in need with the first year of baby's life. We believe that every baby deserves an equal start.

Participating in You Can't Spoil A Baby as a volunteer is a memorable experience that encourages healthier and more connected communities while benefiting the planet too since our gifts are made primarily of once-loved baby items.

We know how busy life gets, so we prioritize volunteer opportunities that are done from your home, business or community group, and on your schedule after reading a simple online training. YCSAB offers one-time and ongoing volunteer positions for individuals, community groups, and businesses. Check out for more info or follow us on Facebook or Instagram to stay connected.
Volunteer Opportunity Details
Description of Duties: You Can't Spoil A Baby needs Businesses or Community Groups to assist donors by providing a convenient location for them to drop off their once loved or new baby items and clothes to. The more Drop Spot locations we have, the more donations we receive and the more custom gifts we can make and deliver to Manitoba families in need.

Being a Drop Spot is our easiest position, and the one with the most impact. Being a Drop Spot offers your business or group a heartwarming and unique way to show the public that you are community minded, that you care about families in need and that you want to reduce your environmental footprint.

We'll add your drop spot address and instructions to our Drop Spot map and you wait for your customers/participants and public donors, to bring donations of baby items to you. When your donation area is full, you use the same Drop Spot map to locate the most convenient YCSAB Gift Coordinator (GC) and drop them off to them, or you contact us and we will pick them up for you.
To assist in this process, we can provide you posters, flyers, and fridge magnets for your location to help advertise your involvement with YCSAB. There is also a banner we can loan to you on a short-term basis when it is available. Also, we can promote your volunteer involvement on our Facebook and Instagram pages and add you to our Partners page for further acknowledgment. The YCSAB team and our online volunteer training manual are here to help walk you through learning this new role as we truly want volunteering to be a great experience for you and your team.

Most of our gift applicants and volunteers are from Winnipeg and surrounding areas, but as YCSAB grows, there may be more rural opportunities. We accept volunteers from across Manitoba.
