Book a classroom presentation!

Through our Community Outreach activities, we are able to connect with Manitobans on the benefits of volunteerism. We attend outreach events throughout Manitoba and also visit with classrooms, community groups and organizations to deliver presentations on community engagement and how to find the right volunteer opportunity.

For the upcoming academic year, Volunteer Manitoba is pleased to deliver classroom presentations on the benefits of community engagement and how to find the right volunteer opportunity.

Classroom presentations are 25-45 minutes (including Q&A) and can be tailored to suit your classroom. For example, we can cover the following topics:

• Individual benefits of giving back to your community
• How volunteerism can help develop job skills
• Benefits to the community
• How to create your own community project
• Information on scholarships and bursaries for students
• Information on accessing the high school credit for volunteering

Unfortunately, not all requests can be guaranteed, but Volunteer Manitoba strives to reach as many communities and schools as possible.
