Things To Consider

Before your start you should do two things:

1. Determine what type of event would most benefit your community. You could organize an event that focuses on recruiting young people to volunteer, or have community volunteer recruitment fair, or have an event that is designed to highlight all the different community services that are available.

2. Talk to various community members about what type of event they would like to attend. Also, ask the non-profit organizations what type of event they would like to participate in. This will increase the commitment and enthusiasm for the event when it happens.

Below is a list of resources that you may require. Beside each item is a list of potential sources for monetary donations to help cover the costs or these people may lend or donate the items.
