Volunteer Manitoba’s Resource Centre is the best source of specialized information on the non-profit sector in Manitoba and represents an effective tool for both the public and non-profit communities. Items may be borrowed from the Resource Centre, and the collection can be searched at http://vomb.catalogue.manitobaspruce.ca .
The collection houses approximately 3,000 books, reports, periodicals and audiovisuals on topics such as volunteer management, fundraising, board governance, marketing, screening and other issues affecting non-profits. See Book Lists where many of our resources are organized under these and other topics. Resource Centre staff is on hand to respond to requests for help in selecting books most appropriate for an organization.
The Resource Centre subscribes to the Canadian Directory to Foundations & Corporations, a database of funders maintained by Imagine Canada. Staff will search for funders in this Directory upon request (appointment recommended).
