significant changes to Manitoba's labour laws in 30 years and better
reflects the realities of today's workplaces." said Nancy Allan,
Labour and Immigration Minister.
Ryan Savage, a lawyer specializing in labour and employment law,
will provide an overview of the changes to Manitoba's Employment
Standards Act with particular emphasis on the changes most relevant
to organizations in the non-profit sector.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Those in the non-profit sector responsible for
the personnel and operational management of their organization.
For example, Executive Directors, Members of HR or Personnel Committee,
Senior Managers, Board Chairperson.
FORMAT: This session is delivered in a video conference format in
various communities across Manitoba. The instructor will be in Winnipeg
but you will be able to see and hear him and he will be able to
see and hear you. You can ask questions and get immediate answers.
You will also be able to see and hear the other participants at
the different locations.
