Volunteer Management Leadership Skills (Level 2)
Prerequisite: Volunteer Management Introduction
Today's environment is fast-moving, competitive
and constantly changing. As a result, organizations not only need
to improve their management systems, they also need staff and volunteers
with strong leadership skills. Volunteer Management Leadership Skills
is a three-day workshop that provides participants with the opportunity
to examine and improve their leadership abilities.
What will you learn?
Leadership - Realities & Future Trends ·Building Partnerships & Collaborating · Building Leaders for Successful Teams · Increasing Volunteer Program Profile & Beyond
Participants will have an opportunity to network with other managers
of volunteer programs and become familiar with current resources.
This course provided invaluable information
and tools for leadership as a volunteer manager. After taking the
course, I have shared some of the tips and resources with my co-workers
and we've been able to put to use many of the practical strategies
for networking, leading teams, and accessing information on trends
that will benefit our organization. The course was a great investment
of time and it was even fun!
