Strategizing for Recruitment
Success
Strategically planning recruitment
is important in our ever-changing volunteer marketplace. It begins
with a thorough analysis of current recruitment practices and materials
and their effectiveness. When we examine the realities of volunteer
involvement, a new way of thinking, a new way of designing work
that will attract today's volunteers, is necessary. Reframing our
messages and becoming more creative with our marketing approaches
can increase our chances for success.
Learn how to:
- Analyze current research findings and recruitment approaches.
- Apply job design theory to create volunteer assignments that are
interesting, challenging but also realistic for today's volunteer.
- Develop a recruitment strategy for your organization.
