Participants in this workshop will examine cultural assumptions, beliefs, values, expectations, and their effects on organizations and communities
This workshop will also help you:
*Increase knowledge of current immigration trends in Manitoba
*Identify the source of one’s own cultural programming
*Examine one’s personal values and assumptions and how they relate to culture

Marian Hijkoop
Marian Hijkoop coordinates the Neepawa & Area Immigrant Settlement Services office. Marian has given courses on cultural diversity, violence and abuse prevention, body image and self-esteem, and disaster management. Marian also has seven years experience as a trainer for the Red Cross RespectED program.
