A one-day workshop to examine strategies and develop effective techniques for writing successful proposals for securing organizational funding or project support. Take an inspiring and informative look at what makes a winning proposal. Learn more about funders, what they are looking for and how they select winning proposals. Learn how to lay-out and write a credible, easy to read proposal that meets your funders' needs.
Who should attend?
The proposal writing workshop is ideal for those who have to write convincing documents to secure necessary funding and resources for their project, program or event.
The Beginners version is meant for those who have little to no experience and want to an overview of the whole proposal process; doing the research for funders, connecting with the funder, effective writing skills, time management, organisational and follow-up techniques and editing your proposal.
The Intermediate version is for those who have some experience, or who are actively working on a particular proposal. In the intermediate version registrants will be asked to bring a laptop in order to begin and complete one proposal. The focus will be on writing a winning proposal.
