The Investors Group Arts & Culture Award
For Volunteer Excellence
Investors Group is proud to support Volunteer Manitoba with the Arts & Culture Award. This award is supported by Arts Stabilization Manitoba Inc. and the Manitoba Foundation of the Arts. The award is open to all arts and culture groups within Manitoba and encourages new awareness and recognition.
The Arts & Culture Award recognizes and honours a committed and dedicated volunteer or group of volunteers that contribute to the growth and success of an arts or cultural organization.
Nomination Procedures
Please fill out the nomination form and submit it with the following documents: (Please provide as much detail as possible to assist the judges in their selection).
- Brief summary of the giving of time, money or design provided by an individual or group of individuals.
- Detail of the benefits to your organization or community that the nominee(s) has provided with their efforts.
- Description of the commitment which helped grow and strengthen the arts and culture organization in your community.
Any additional information (newsletters, press clippings, photos, etc.) to support this nomination would be useful and welcome.
Suggested Criteria for the Award
- Recognizing a person that is a force behind creating programs, reforms, new initiatives and responding to community issues.
- Recognizing the advancement of social issues, community well being and families.
- Celebrating the diversity in our community.
- Recognizing an inspiring leader.
- Recognizing the pioneering spirit of volunteerism.
- Recognizing social commitment and persistence.
- Recognizing a life long commitment to volunteering.
